President - Gary Snyder, CLGT
Gary Snyder is serving as the current President of the Oklahoma
Chapter of the IAAO.
He is currently employed by Oklahoma State
University at the Center for Local Government Technology (CLGT). He
is an instructor for the Assessor’s Training and Accreditation
Program , administered by CLGT and has served in that capacity for
six and one half years. Prior to coming to OSU, he served as Noble
County Assessor and has a total of 17 years county government
experience.
Snyder is a graduate of Oklahoma State
University with a B.S. in Agriculture Economics and is currently
working on an IAAO designation. Snyder has been a member of the
National IAAO for eight years and is an Oklahoma Real Estate Broker.

Vice President - Cathy Hokit, Stephens County Assessor
Cathy Hokit is currently the Vice-President of the Oklahoma Chapter
of IAAO. She has been working in the Stephens County Assessor’s
Office for the past 25 years, the last 8 of those as the County
Assessor.
Cathy is a graduate
of Velma-Alma High School. She is married and has 3 daughters, Lacy
Ramirez, Lisha Loveday, Lori Hokit, and one grandson Eli Ramirez.
Cathy is currently
Vice- President of the Oklahoma Assessors Association, a member of
the National IAAO, American Who Who’s of Professional Women, member
of the Stephens County Democrats, a member of the Duncan Chamber of
Commerce, and a member of Kappa Beta Sigma Phi.

Larry Stein, Chief Deputy Oklahoma County
Assessor
Larry Stein
is the Chief Deputy for Oklahoma County Assessor, Leonard
Sullivan. From the Court House to the State House to the White
House, Stein has been there. He was the State Capitol Bureau
Chief for KTOK and the Oklahoma News Network and covered
Presidents, Congress, Governors, city council, fires, murders
federal and county courts. Stein’s work in journalism has
earned national and regional awards for excellence in journalism
and communications. He has presented seminars and workshops to
the
International Association of Assessing Officers (IAAO)
and private businesses on how to communicate effectively with
the media and the public. Stein has had articles published in
the
Fair and Equitable, the magazine of the
IAAO
and is a nationally recognized communications expert.
